As with any profession, the more you practice the better you become. I took some time off at the end of the year just because the last of opportunities to shoot interesting subjects. We this year so far I've had numerous opportunities to shoot a lot of interesting people in unique spaces! I've met some super friendly and nice people along the way and this make shooting even better. I've done a couple of paid meetups and these seem like the best for me right now. They are more professional and people have more of a commitment in doing good work.
I've also just update my pricing for this year. I think it's reasonable, and still I think it separates me from the newbies and puts me in a position where you know you are dealing with a serious artist and now just some fly by night person. i know my work is good and better than a lot of what I've seen out there. I'm comfortable talking about my abilities, my work and what I can do differently for my clients and why they should chose me for their photography needs. So back to work for me, and i'll catch up with you guys later!. By the way, what did you guys give up for Lent?
